Thermal jackets are a vailable for all surge alleviator types above 60 in3 1.0 Liters. Cooling or heating jackets are readily available using the shell of the next size of unit larger than the surge alleviator size that you need, as the jacket.
The PipeHugger LP series of surge alleviators / flow fluctuation preventors is available in both heating and cooling jacketed form. The flow through configuration ensures constant temperature. Optional piping system base blocks are available in all machinable materials, with any connection orientation, flange, or thread type. Base blocks provide ease of mounting, and the ability to change the pulsation dampener / surge alleviator in minimum down time, and without disturbing piping integrity.

We can provide you with the pulsation dampener or surge alleviator required to meet your particular systems temperature expansion / contraction compensation and membrane permeability requirements. Jacketed pulsation dampeners may be provided with removable thermal jackets for better cleaning, or with non removable welded jacketing that remains part of the pulsation dampener shell. Membrane permeability, for use with carbon dioxide (CO2) in gas or liquid form, and liquid nitrogen, resloved through the use of a metal membrane.
